The Lytton Chinese History Museum collects, preserves and displays artifacts and photographs to encourage a greater understanding of the experiences, hardships and contributions of thousands of Chinese miners, railway workers, merchants and farmers in the Interior of British Columbia.

Before its first collection was destroyed by the Lytton Creek wildfire of 2021, the museum had one of the largest collections of Chinese artifacts in North America. Our new collection is growing thanks to generous donations.
The museum has rebuilt and is open again after the devastating Lytton Creek wildfire, with a reaffirmed commitment to preserving and sharing local Chinese history.
